The Groove Child Syllabus has been designed as gender friendly and ‘neutral’ in terms of dance style. This means it’s incredibly adaptable and easy to use; you can offer Groove Child as separate classes on your timetable, OR integrate this work into your current classes if desired. Both options help nurture more authentic performance expression within your dancers, across all of their dance styles, and offers you as teacher opportunity to be inspired with new choreography ideas and themes - every week!

teacher Testimonials

Anne Walker
MBE / Dance Teacher, Business Mentor and Founder of IDS

"Groove Child is structured in such a clever way. The students are developing their imagination, emotions and musicality but they think they are just having fun! Perfect for dance teachers who want to teach more than just syllabus or steps."

Laura Robinson
ISTD / Dance School Owner

"I love the imagination it encourages. It's such a brilliant way for children to express themselves..."

Groove Child suits two types of teachers.

New teachers wanting to expand their timetable, work CREATIVELY with their students as well as technically, and those who are very keen to support the self development and emotional well-being of their dancers as they progress.

Well-established and longer-standing teachers who’ve been running their dance classes for many years and are looking for an injection of creativity (in a structured and easily integrated format!) that offers something refreshing, aids talent growth, and gives them new tools to reward the success of their students.
