This syllabus jumped out at me straight away due to its nurturing and positive ethos. They way children respond to it is beautiful and I’m inspired each time I teach it.
Groove Child is structured in such a clever way. The students are developing their imagination, emotions and musicality but they think they are just having fun! Perfect for dance teachers who want to teach more than just syllabus or steps.
One of the many aspects I love about Groove Child is that it really does fulfil it's promise that it appeals to both the recreational and advanced dance students. It promotes confidence, self-awareness, friendship, and encourages a deeper awareness of how they express and communicate emotion when they perform. Both types of dancers have so much to gain and achieve from these classes.
I've loved the syllabus so far! I've worked my way through half of it, writing down any notes I feel are necessary. I plan to slowly introduce it to my classes... I will definitely recommend this to any other dance school for the amazing work created and the super friendly team behind Groove Child.
I absolutely love the Groove Child Level One exercises and intend to incorporate them into my online classes from today. Lovely syllabus that really enables children to use their imagination, as well as encouraging them to dance from the heart.
